Introduction:
The department Arabic of Katahguri College was established for the greater interest of the students residing in its surrounding localities and surrounding areas. Katahguri College was established in 1988 and got Govt. Provincialisation in 2021. The Arabic department is one of the important departments of this institution. The department of Arabic always makes the best effort to contribute in to the rumor of the college by giving its excellent academic results as well as its co- curricular activities of these years. The Department of Arabic has been smoothly running with Honours/Major and Regular/General courses in UG level from its beginning.
Aims and objectives:
Arabic is one of the richest literatures as well as an important international language of the world. The prose, poetry, novel, drama, short story essay, rhetoric, grammar of Arabic language is highly developed in comparison to other literature. Aims and objectives of teaching and learning of Arabic is to make acquaintance with a great literature and language of the world and to gain proper wisdom to be a complete human beings.
The Aims and Objectives of Arabic Department are summarized as follows:
- To increase the number of students in the department of Arabic as to educate and aware them about different literary issues.
- To provide the students the knowledge of Arabic language and literature.
- To provide the students the knowledge of basic principles of Islamic rules and regulations on the basis of Quran and Hadith.
- To develop socio- religious environment among the students and the in general.
The Vision:
The Department of Arabic aims to enhance the comprehensive power of the students in Arabic Language and Literature for the overall development of intellectual and linguistic abilities to seek their future internationally.
The Mission:
The Department of Arabic seeks to provide more educational opportunities to the underprivileged and the marginalized section of the society.
